~Here for your consideration, is a fabulous, vintage, figural , bisque, WOMEN’S SUFFRAGE, VOTES FOR WOMEN collectible, in the form of the image of SOJOURNER TRUTH, who, despite being born into slavery, became a famous American abolitionist and women’s rights activist. She is holding a “VOTES FOR WOMEN” sign.This original, historical piece was created in two sizes by the renowned , German Company, Schafer and VATER. It is the rarer, greatly sought after, larger size and measures 7 1/2 inches in height, has some wear commensurate with it’s age, has a tiny bit of roughness to one corner of the sign and is in very good condition.~
