Up for auction is an original mid-1960s college yearbook featuring a photograph of class senior and future member and principle songwriter for The Velvet Underground, Lou Reed (1942-2013).
Also pictured (twice) is classmate/friend of Reed, part of the youthquake fashion movement and of Andy Warhol’s underground scene (married briefly to John Cale), Betsey Johnson.
Complete yearbook in very good plus condition with minor rubbing to cloth binding and previous owner’s signature on front flyleaf.
