Original WW2 German LBA helmet chin strap. This sale is for chin strap and buckle shown. There are NO offensive symbols on this item. Sale in the US only. This is an original LBA luftwaffe issued chin strap. Leather is very flexible and strong. Near perfect with the only visible defect is a slight surface crack between the 8th and 9th hole. More of a stress crack. Clearly marked LBA, full length with a makers stamp. Top of stamp is partially visible with WIEN clearly stamped at bottom with what appears to be a date stamp of 1939. Early aluminum buckle and two fastening studs are aluminum. Nice original straps are getting harder to find. Repo straps are getting closer to being counterfeit. Wether you are a helmet collector or dealer this strap would complete and add value to the right helmet, or just hang on to it for the future or as an investment. Shipped priority .00.
