    NOTES:
    No maker's name, but the E.T. Rushton invention was licensed to Hercules.
    For prep in replacing the tire, spreading the split rim, after removal of hub/spokes.
    Solid cast crank handle may have had a wooden grip.
    Rusty patina, with remains of green paint.
    There are great internet discussions about changing tires with this tool, including aaca dot org.
    Good tips on placement of the pawls, position of the tube stem, liberal lubrication of all parts, etc.
