    Description

    Vintage Vera Crocheted Set Hat Scarf Purple Maroon & Lavender Hand Made 1970's
    densely & evenly hand crocheted hat & scarf/muffler set from Vera Neumann
    circa 1972 & purchased at the Navy Exchange in Cherry Point, NC
    stripes in alternating bright maroon, deep purple, & lavender
    both pieces are edged all the way around with purple crocheted scallops
    neither piece is lined
    both have the 1970's VERA label
    no country of origin or content or care tags
    Size:
    scarf is 60" long x 6" wide
    hat is 8 1/2" tall. Lying flat the part that fits around your head is 20" but because of the weave it will stretch a bit.
    Condition: These are in very good shape - no holes or stains. They have been stored in a cedar closet and may have a slight forest aroma.
