    Description

    From Madrid, Spain in the late 1950's, this fan was purchased by my mother, a world-class travel agent and brought back to the US and then hidden away till now.  It is in the original box that it was purchased in and has only been opened once in the past 60 years... and it was opened to take the photographs.
    The box is in rough shape, but, the fan is pristine.
    The fan has 9" spines of wood, all of which are in perfect shape as it has never been used as a fan.
    The story of the matador and his bull fight is amazing, but the delicately painted flamenco dancer and other ornate details are extremely beautiful.
