Vintage Hawaiian Sea Shell Cluster Snail Lei Necklace For Jewelry Making Craft
I am not sure of the exact kind of shells.  These shells are clustered and look like polished snails.  Each has a unique and pretty pattern...jewels of the sea!
This strand is vintage and originally was brought back from Hawaii in the 1960s.  I do not know if they are Hawaiian shells or if they are from somewhere else in the South Pacific and then strung in Hawaii.
It was strung using some kind of plastic string.  The string was cut so I put tape on it so you can restring it or use the shells for another project.  (see pictures)
It is in overall good condition.  The string has a cut.  The shells are pretty.  The colors are clean and crisp.
The shape is strong.
This comes from a pet and smoke free environment.
