COPPER MEZUZAH CASE
Vintage Handmade piece made of copper.
Made in Israel in 1950's.
Engraved in Hebrew letters "שמה ישראל"  Shema Israel  " Hear, Oh Israel"
Shema Israel is the first two words of a section of the Torah, and are title of a prayer that serves as a centerpiece of the morning and evening Jewish prayer services. The first verse encapsulates the monotheistic essence of Judaism:
"Hear, Oh Israel : The Lord is our God, the Lord is One "

The mezuzah is used has some scratches, but is in very good vintage condition.
