  • Condition: Overall the boombox is in very good condition for the era. All functions are completely tested and working. It comes with the original power cord, but also is working with batteries. It has light marks on the front. Some scratches on the top. The antenna is perfectly straight. One of the clips on the battery cover is broken off. It still holds on as it should and isn't too noticeable.

    Up for sale here we have a RARE Hard to Find
    Vintage 1980s Sharp Boombox AM/FM Stereo Cassette Tape Recorder Model GF-8787.  We purchased this from the original owner.  It was part of his collection in his electronics room.  Overall as you can see it is pretty clean.  The dimensions are 20.5"x11.25"x5".  The GF-8787 is a quality Japan made boombox.  It is very well made, heavy, and solid.  Overall the boombox is in very good condition for the era.  All functions are completely tested and working.  It comes with the original power cord, but also is working with batteries.  It has light marks on the front.  Some scratches on the top.  The antenna is perfectly straight.  One of the clips on the battery cover is broken off.  It still holds on as it should and isn't too noticeable.
