Here is a striking Belgian movie poster from the original release of the Charlie Chan mystery
The Red Dragon
. This was the 34th film in the Charlie Chan series that began in 1931 starring Warner Oland and produced by Fox Films. By the mid Forties, Monogram carried on the series with Sidney Toler and later, Roland Winters. After a while, many of the plots appeared to repeat themselves. In this film Charlie investigates murders connected with atomic bomb formulas and remote controlled bullets.  This poster is from the original release of the film in Belgium (probably 1946 or 1947) and features a beautiful portrait of Toler as the Chinese sleuth. It is in very good condition for its age and would make a great addition to your Charlie Chan or murder mystery movie poster collection.

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN/SIZE: Belgium  14.25" x 21.5"
CONDITION:
Very Good Condition. Untrimmed top white border. A few bumps and small tears in the white borders along with a small piece of tape not affecting the artwork. Slight overall yellowing to the paper. Originally folded as issued, this poster has been stored flat for the past 20 years and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube.
