Technisonic Conion TC-555 Boombox Cassette Player **AS-IS**

Up for auction is a Technisonic Conion TC-555 stereo boombox.
This is a powerhouse of a device, very loud at short distances, big enough boom to fill just about any space. Definitely deserves its hype.

, so please read the following:
I have cleaned this inside and out, the condition I bought it in was rough, to say the least. I've put a lot of effort into it, and it could use some more.
There are still signs of the stickers that were on it, and a couple of etchings. There's a fair bit of cosmetic damage as can be seen in the photos. The radio works fine and is clear. The headphone jack works fine as well.
The left tape player does not work, the right tape player is fully functional. I do not have covers for these.
The "NORM" tape selection does not work, it generates a loud hum.
The dubbing selection lever is broken off.
The power button cover is missing, but the power button itself works.
The EQ sliders are tough to move, but they do work.
The right speaker is spotty, it works at higher volumes and cuts out near the lowest volume.
The original power cable is missing, a replacement is included. It originally had a three-prong plug, the two-prong cable works fine.
I do not know if the battery compartment works, and I don't have a cover for it.
