    Description

Belgian Original 1st Release Poster -
    The Shanghai Cobra (1945)
    ,
    Charlie Chan,
Sidney Toler, Mantan Moreland, Benson Fong, Joan Barclay, James Cardwell, Phil Karlson
Here is a striking Belgian movie poster from the original release of the Charlie Chan mystery
    The Shanghai Cobra
. This was the 33rd film in the Charlie Chan series that began in 1931 starring Warner Oland and produced by Fox Films. By the mid Forties, Monogram carried on the series with Sidney Toler and later, Roland Winters. After a while, many of the plots appeared to repeat themselves. In this film Charlie investigates when three bank employees are killed with cobra venom. This poster is from the original release of the film in Belgium (probably 1946 or 1947) and features some really cool artwork that is unique to the Belgian poster. It is in very good condition for its age and would make a great addition to your Charlie Chan or murder mystery movie poster collection.
