The illustrations in this Megila were made by Tzvi Malevanchick. Though containing elements of the Persian court costume, the artist also incorporated in his art elements of his time as well, IE THE 1930'S. Consider the black sambo baby serving Ahashverosh and the Indian fellow on his right. These were images from the 1920s and 30s when Britain ruled the seas. Also take a look at the hats of Haman, his 10 sons (hanging) and wife. Remind you of the Pope?
This Megilla was printed around 1971 in the format of a BOOK. The colors were printed very vividly and are of a lithographic nature.
    MEASUREMENTS: 13 x 24cm. 16 pages.
    CONDITION: Good.
