For sale is this Republican Senatorial Medal of Freedom. In excellent condition, the medal is the highest and most prestigious award that Republican U.S. Senators can bestow on an individual. Medals are given for contributions to the Republican Party either through statesmanship or economic contributions. Previous recipients include Ronald Reagan, Norman Schwarzkopf, Margaret Thatcher and Charlton Heston.
The gold tone medal features a low relief image of an eagle above an image of the Statue of Liberty and is attached to a blue ribbon.
The medal diameter is 38mm  and weighs 30 grams. Great collectors item.
