    Description

    1968.
Viet Nam raged unchecked. Hippies raged unchecked in the Streets of Chicago. Demonstrations were everywhere. LBJ had been forced to sacrifice his second term due to his major miscalculation in Viet Nam.
And Nixon decided it was his turn, after the surprising defeat in 1960 to JFK.
Nixon: forced to resign by a botched burglary he knew nothing about until after the fact. Today, "Watergate" is referred daily, as in "worse than Watergate". Today, Nixon is viewed as a Statesman, mostly, for detente with China more than "peace with Honor". For the EPA, even.
This is a copy of the program for that convention: available to a rather small chunk of the population, but still the average first printing of a typical book.
