Rare 1956 Republican National Convention 7 Flag Banner WELCOME Flag BANNER -Dwight Eisenhower & Richard Nixon.
The 1956 RNC Convention took place in San Francisco California and this Banner hung between San Francisco’s light poles near the convention. There are 7 flags that measure 22 in. long by 15 in. at the top wide. The white flags say Welcome God, and are two sided the red 56 elephant are single sided. The span of this banner would be approximately 17.5 Feet.
The banner is in good condition for its ages canvas material the letters are dyed so no cracks, there are a few tears on the rope, some age discoloration. Please look at images.
It’s made of canvas material. It’s in very good condition, no holes, there are some stains and spots. It’s been in a former delegates collection. He has been attending conventions as a former delegate, as well as collecting GOP Memorabilia.
