Smoke free! This thing does need a good cleaning but I don’t want to mess it up so if you purchase this you’ll have to do a little more detail cleaning. The tape deck works and records. The only thing that is wrong is when you eject the tape it kind of is broken on one side which you can see in the second picture. Also turning up the volume is really static he crackly but then it evens itself out and plays what music or whatever you want to listen to. Also the left speaker if you’re looking at it is quieter than the right. I’m not big into electronics so I’m not sure if it’s a little wiring hook up issue or not but you still get sound from it just not as loud as the right side. It does have some paint stains on it which you would need to clean it more. also some cracks and dings on it as well. But the most important thing is the antenna works great only runs on batteries there is no power cord which I will include the 6D batteries
