Original WW2 WWII German M35 M1935 Steel Helmet - Early production

Description

For auction is an original WW2 German M35 helmet shell. I believe this is a very early production piece as there is not maker mark to be found, only a stylized number 3 on the rear of the skirt, as shown in the photos. I included images of the areas where you would normally see size markings to show there are none.
I think this helmet may have been Luftwaffe, but not 100% certain. There are remains of blue paint on the piece.
