Description
Original WW2 German M40 Helmet Stalingrad.This German Model 40 helmet was found where the former city Stalingrad stood, early in 2020. It was found along with about 20 other helmets signifying that the soldiers surrendered and their gear was buried by civilians in the aftermath. As shown, it still has much of its factory feldgrau paint on the exterior with mainly rust on the inside. The helmet has a pinhole as shown, on the top and a minute crack by where the decal was. The folded brim of the helmet has 2 places where the steel is missing as shown. The size is 64.
