Next up is this beautiful original Belgian movie poster from the first release of Vincent Sherman's drama of timeless love,
Mr.Skeffington
. This film starred Bette Davis at a point when she was still Queen of the Warner Brothers lot. Claude Rains was brought on to co-star.  Though not considered one of Davis' greatest movies, both Davis and Rains were nominated for Academy Awards for their performances in this film. This poster is from the 1st release of the film in Belgium after the end of WWII. It probably dates from 1947 or 1948. It doesn't come up for sale or auction very often and features stunning artwork unique to the Belgian poster. It is in excellent condition and will make a welcomed addition to anyone's Bette Davis poster collection.

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN/SIZE: Belgium  15.5" x 20.5"; 18" x 23" (on linen)
CONDITION:   Very Good Condition On Linen.  Prior to backing, the top white border was slightly trimmed and the poster was folded as originally issued. This poster has been stored flat for 16 years and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube.
