Description
"Hospitality Louisville 72"Louisville, Jefferson County and Kentucky pitch book for 1972 Democratic convention. In May 1971, this was the overview of the pitch sent to the chairman of the Democratic National Committee, Robert Strauss, touting Louisville's Freedom Hall -- and the region -- as a site for the 1972 Democratic National Convention.
The DNC chose Miami. But not before it received pitches like this one from around the country. This appears to have been re-published for local officials, chamber of commerce and party leaders. It is NOT the original package and reflects a general overview.
