JVC RC 838 JW II....Here we have the much sought after and desired JVC RC 838 JW 2 from 1978....The radio is in full working condition and is in exceptional cosmetic shape for its age...Both antennas are present and extend straight all the way...All lights and meters are also working...Picks up stations loud and clear with no static and i didn't notice any scratchiness in any or the knobs and switches....Take a good look at the pictures this is the radio I am selling and they are part of the description....Battery compartment is clean and free of corrosion ....Cassette plays at proper speed all functions work but occasionally it likes to click off during playback...This happens when it is in need of new cassette belts inside the unit which can be hard to find but your in luck I am including a fresh new set of proper belts at no extra charge....Cassette door opens slow but needs help...Also the Biophonic switch is finicky I had to play with it to get both left and right channels to work while listening but then plays fine....To fix that you would need to spray the switch inside with Deoxit they build a bit of corrosion after time that causes this....No major issues here and cord will also be included.....All sales are final no warranty as is and no returns...The unit will be packed extremely well and I will insure package for you and will incorporate cost in shipping....Thank you and good luck !!!......JVC IS KING !!!!!
