Description
Here's a great silk ribbon that promotes the G.O.P. Hamilton Club of Chicago. Depicted is a sitting elephant with a GOP banner in its mouth beneath advertising for the National Republican Convention held in Chicago June 16, 1908 and where Grover Cleveland was the party's nominee. It measures approx. 3" by 7" and reads in its bottom left corner: F.T. Peterson Co. Print.Very good condition with great graphics. The Hamilton Club, organized in 1890, was a Republican social club. I scanned the front of the ribbon with its protective plastic film cover. Thanks for looking at this auction.
