GOP 1980 Republican National Convention collection.
Rare items from the personal estate of the President of the Host Committee for the 1980 GOP National Convention held in Detroit, my direct relative.
All authentic and all obtained directly from the convention. All in as-new, unused, clean condition.
Includes multiples of some items:
Ten
: large stickers with GOP logo: 8" wide by 7.25" tall (same material as bumper stickers with peel-off backing still intact).
Paperweight desk accessory: 1980 GOP Convention logo of cast brass mounted on an Italian marble base with cork cushion on bottom to protect desk surface -comes in its original box: 3" square, total of 1" overall height.
Ceramic ashtray with Convention logo: 5.25" diameter
Pen & pencil set with Convention logo on each in original Parker Brothers box with instructions.
Round button "Detroit Loves A Good Party" -the slogan for the 1980 GOP Convention: about 3" across. Imperfect-see photo.
Fifteen
: Host Committee brass badges with ribbons with protective clear film over brass still intact: top brass portion: 1.5" w by 2.25" tall; entire badge with ribbon: 7.75" tall
