    Description

    GE CR-55 Vintage Boombox - Very Rare.
    This auction is for a very rare GE CR-55 Boombox. You don’t see these very often.
    The good: the boombox, overall, is in pretty good physical condition. Light scratches, but nothing deep. The radio and presets work, and the belt on the tape deck has been replaced, so it is fully functional, including the music search! Antenna is straight.
    The bad: the lid that covers the tuning buttons is missing. The battery pack (you can’t just put D size batteries in this radio) isn’t present. It will run on the AC cord, but not batteries. The back lid is present. Part of the display isn’t working, as shown on the picture. This is only the fourth digit. So you can tune, and it works fine, but the complete last digit isn’t seen.
    This boombox is LOUD and sounds great! It is also HEAVY.
    Speakers are detachable.
    Measures 25” wide, 9” high, 6” deep.
