Fully Working Magnavox D8443 boombox Tape Deck Working read Description!

Been sitting in my closet for 7 years.. i modded one of these 8 years ago.. look up Magnamod on YouTube.. this one listed was a spare.. instead of going crazy modding it.. i instead brought it back to its formal glory.. i installed the gear that basically fails on 100% of the cassette decks on these Magnavox boomboxes.. the gear was manufactured in Russia.. it is a well made gear.. and you will not have to worry that it will fail in the future.. i also replaced the belts.. all controls were cleaned and operate well.. i tore down and rebuilt/cleaned the whole unit.. i also replaced all the wiring with Dupont connectors.. so basically all the boards inside can be unplugged to get to other boards if needed without making a mess.. i had planned on doing much more to this unit.. but due to the silliness of Phillips.. the AUX in is a joke.. i was going to add Bluetooth internally.. but it basically impossible due to the design.. it would be easier to just get a Bluetooth cassette adapter.. in my attempt i did create a small hole in the back.. has no effect on the unit itself.. just wanted to point it out.. it also has a name etched in the back.. i received it that way.. the only other small issue is the Treble control.. if it is up all the way you lose the Stereo effect.. if you turn it down just a tiny bit Stereo comes back.. i cleaned it twice.. and it didnt change.. it is a small issue and everything else works great.. tape plays at normal speed.. Ebay wont let me post a direct link.. antenna is straight and battery compartment is clean.. some scuffs and scrapes but not bad for the age.. still a looker.. it will not "rock the block" these were not known to go super loud.. but the sound is full and has a analog-y feel to it.. very pleasant to me anyways.. so if you have been wanting a decent example of this classic looker fully functioning.. your not going to find a better example.. please allow a few days to pack it up if your the winning bidder.. i pack items as if i'm sending it to myself.. so no need to worry.. normally i ship for free.. but due to the size i will have to charge to ship.. but i will eat some of the shipping by making shipping more reasonable to you.. basically splitting the shipping.. i will not ship outside the continental U.S. bid with confidence! 14 year Ebayer.. i also have the other 2 gears.. (was a 3 gear package) though i didnt feel those two needed to be replaced.. so you have them for future replacement if needed..
