charming set of 8 ceramic GOP elephant mugs by Frankoma. Lot includes mugs from 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1980, 1981, and 1983. Three of the mugs are labeled: 1969 - "NIXON AGNEW"; 1973 - "NIXON AGNEW"; and 1981 - "REAGAN BUSH".
Each mug measures 4-3/4" at its widest point across the elephant's body, 4" tall, and 3" across the mug's mouth. Overall good condition with minor signs of age or shelf wear. I noticed a few flakes missing from the blue mug. Some normal crazing inside the mugs. Possibly one or two fleabite chips around the base of some mugs, nothing very noticeable. Please refer to the photos and ask any questions prior to bidding. A nice instant collection of GOP mugs. A solid addition to any collection.
