Frankoma Republican Elephant Mugs - Multiple Years & Colors-Reds and Blue

These Frankoma collector's Republican Elephant Mugs have a year on one side of the top and GOP on the other side of the top.  The upraised trunk is the handle. Each mug is 4 inches tall, measures 8 inches from extended trunk to back of a foot, and is 3 inches wide.
Frankoma Pottery from Sapulpa, OK made a different color mug every year for many years until the company declared bankruptcy. On the bottom in raised letters and numbers is "FRANKOMA U. S. Pat. D215-868.
The original "Elephant Mug" was created for the National Republican Women's Club in 1968 and copyrighted by Frankoma in 1969.
