    Description

    Extremely rare one of a kind  Boom box The Sony FH-909R. In very good condition. Have now fully serviced the FH-909R! Has a brand new original OEM speaker relay to stop the amp from cutting out on the left channel at low volume. Replaced all bulbs in amp and tuner. Also replaced the tiny bulb in the tape deck to light the tape. Have to change this bulb again as I did not realize it was a 6 volt bulb and barely lit up with a 12 volt bulb. Spent a couple of days servicing the tape deck and got it to perform like new again with brand new belts installed.
    The original cd player will be included along with the original remote and a copy of the (impossible to find) original factory manual. If I find after testing the cd player that it does not perform perfectly I will be sending in to Kasun to get serviced next week.
    The speakers are the original APM-909. The are in pretty good shape overall but not perfect. It is very common for the top of the tuners to be scratched and this one is as well.
    Will be including a brand new Sony metal tape that will have the Beatles on one side and Elvis on the other. This will enable you to be able test the tape deck right after you get the unit.
    Note to international buyers: The Fh-909R and Sony CDP-S27 are multi voltage units.
    The FH-909R is the king of all Boomboxes and is extremely hard to find as Sony never made them in great numbers in 1988. It has a true 45 watts per channel and has a very powerful bass expansion circuit. I have had a FH-909R hooked up to my Sony APM-66ES and the bass that these speakers put off connected to this amp is sick. It pounded through my chest!
    I have taken off the immediate payment option so someone can purchase the unit and send me the payment  (Only after) I have installed the new bulb for the tape deck and got the cd player back from service if I decide that the cd player needs to be serviced after fully testing the cd player.
    Also please do not pay me straight away so I can get the unit packed up so I can calculate the shipping cost.
