CDI ELECTRONICS MERCURY 3 CYLINDER SWITCH BOX 114-4796 MERC 650 "65hp"

Description

Up for bid is a Mercury switch box made by CDI Electronics. Says it works on 1972-75 models with the distributor ignition. I picked this up from my neighbor who took this motor off of the boat he just bought and went to Mercury 4 stroke. I was told that the 650 "65 hp" 3cylinder 2 stroke that was on the boat had not spark and had a bad stator. The CD and coil were replaced and still had no spark. Upon further inspection it turned out that the stator was bad. That's when he sold the boat to my neighbor. I did not do anything with this motor accept part it out. I had no way to check out the CD Unit so it will be
" listed for parts and or not working with no returns"
. The price is right but remember that your taking a chance. My eyes and 35 years experience tell me that this is a new CD and Coil but just that it is untested but appears to be new.
