Here is a rarely seen original Belgian movie poster from the British detective comedy,
Bulldog Jack (
released in the
USA as
Alias Bulldog Drummond)
. Starring Jack Hulbert with support from Fay Wray and Ralph Richardson, the movie is notable for the wide use of location shooting in London's Bloomsbury underground station. This poster is believed to be from the original release of the film in Belgium. It was most likely released shortly after the war in Europe (1946 or 1947) since in is printed on the back of what appears to be a theater seating chart. It is printed in the smaller sized post-war format to conserve paper, a common practice in post-war Belgium.  This poster is in great, unused condition for its age.  It seldom comes up for sale or auction.

CONDITION: Very Good Condition. Untrimmed and unfolded. Overall yellowing of the paper. Printed on back of a grid/chart. This poster has been stored flat for over 20 years and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube.
