Attention Political Nerds:  We found a batch of ORIGINAL political memorabilia from the 1950s-1960's (party platforms, political handouts, campaign buttons, etc.) in a box in a closet in our non-smoking home.  We have listed some, and we will be listing more shortly.  Be on the lookout, as we would be happy to combine items and rebate the "extra" postage.
Offered is an ORIGINAL 1964 Nixon-Lodge Handout "For the Future - This is a time to Think Straight and Make the Right Choice."  Pamphlet/Brochure .  Issued by the New York State Independent Citizens for Nixon and Lodge, this handout is 4 sides of a folded 8 1/2" x 11" sheet.  It vigorously compares the background of Richard Nixon and John Kennedy with such statements as he "HUMBLY worked in this family's store, delivered groceries, sold gasoline, to put himself through school"  and he "whose rich father helped him buy a multi-million dollar campaign machine."   It is in good shape for a paper document that is now more than 60 years old.  Take a look at the photos to judge for yourself.  (For a depressing thought, think of how great you will look in 60 years.  This document looks far, far better than that.  For another depressing thought, think about how many issues that are mentioned in this document are still with us today.)
