American Flyer Ives Golden State Tender for 4694 Loco Standard Gauge X6286

Description

8.5” long diecast tender, made 1920-30 for earliest AF Wide Gauge loco. Tender has an Ives casting and frame, black AF trucks with red-center wheels, AF coupler. It has brass Ives-type trim and Golden State plates. Tender only in listing, looks original/complete, has typical fatigue warp and a pop-out hole the size of a penny 1 side below plate. Casting otherwise shows pimpling, but less warp than often found, finish has light edge wear, not flaking. A piece of black tape is backing-up the hole, but buyer could neatly fill this hole with epoxy. As is, as shown.
