  • Condition: Beautiful bright facial color. Original dress and jewelry. Jewelry consists of a faux pearl necklace and faux drop pearl pierced earrings. Missing shoes. Fingernails painted. Open/Close Blue/Grey Eyes. Single stroke light brown eyebrow. Rooted hair in original style although is a little squashed from being stored in a box for many years. Blush and red lips nicely done. Greyish eyeshadow above eyes. All lashes present. Neither hair or body has been washed. No plugs missing that I could find. Does have three bobypins in hair and I left them No odor. Dress has never been washed. I would not wash it but would press it to make it show better. Possibly a crinoline under the skirt would help it display better too. Since she doesn't have any high heels, I don't know if she would stand on her own. Would need a doll stand unless heels are replaced. Last picture shows some roughness on her upper left thigh -- possible pin pricks? Noticed while i was redressing her.

    Description

    Vintage 1950s vinyl Allied Eastern 30" Lady Doll in original dress and jewelry.  Some of the pearl painting is coming off the earrings.  I didn't notice it on the necklace.  Old clasp (1950s) on the necklace.
    Marked AE 231//26 -- marking is on back of her head. No markings on body.
    Lady Fashion Doll
    Orange dress with white insert in front, layered with a netting having silver decoration.  I put a couple of sheets of crepe paper under her dress to hold it out.  If you put 4-5 pieces under it, it would be gorgeous.  I just wanted to give you the "look" .
    Open/Close eyes work well.  Look like a blue/grey color to me.
    Dark blond hair.  Hair nor dress have been washed.
    Red lips. Closed mouth. Single stroke eyebrown
    Pierced ears with dangling faux pearl earrings.
    Faux eyelashes all present.
    Painted fingernails - - looks like a decent painting job to me.
    Arched feet for high heels.  Original heels have disappeared, so she will come shoeless. I purchased some for her, but they fit the bottom of her feet but I couldn't close them on the top of her foot.  I was going to carve her some shoes out of a soft wood and attach a strap - - then decided I just needed to sell some dolls instead of having them sit in the closet.
    The pictures are my best description.  This is not a mint doll - - she is about 60 years old :).
