    MESSAGE ME TO ORDER A SPECIFIC SIZE B55 OR D97 STRING OR IF YOU NEED MULTIPLE STRINGS! TYPICALLY I CAN HAVE STRING DONE AND LISTED SAME DAY!!  This is a 57" flemish twist string made from BCY B55 Dacron for 60" recurve bows and or longbows INCLUDING OLDER VINTAGE BOWS made in the USA by me. MY AWESOME HANDMADE PUFF BALL SILENCERS INCLUDED AND INSTALLED !!  BCY B55 is similar to the standard b50 dacron but b55 is more durable with a little less stretch.     It is a 14 strand YELLOW AND BLACK with durable brownell diamondback serving to work with either split finger shooters or three fingers under. I have a custom built string jig which you can see in my pictures that I use to make these strings and to pre-stretch strings to well over 200lbs ( see photo of scale..reads 251.3 lbs !! )  so you're pretty much ready to shoot as soon as you get string on bow and adjust brace height by simply twisting or untwisting string. PUFF BALLS included to silence bow and should puff up into nice round puff balls after shooting a few times and are tied onto string so you can easily slide them up or down.   You will notice string tags just under loops..this is normal for flemish twist strings as I drop strands a few at a time as I twist string together to give a nice taper down to main string body..most string builders put about 12 twists before dropping strands I put 15 to18 full twists before dropping strands..
    I have been collecting recurve bows and making Flemish twist strings for about 20 years and none of my strings have ever come apart or snapped.
