50th Anniversary of the Founding of the Republican Party Book with Add-Ins 1904

This is an incredible rare book(1/200 only given out to members of the committee of Republican Party. I only found other ones at U of M, OSU, Harvard ect. This is 136/200 for David Meginnity who was part of the Alger Republican Club and also picked several of the important ranking republican members. The Republican party was started in Franklin Street Under the Oaks in Jackson, Michigan. There is a picture from 1903 with it that shows the birthplace. The book itself is in fantastic shapes with a few small pen marks in the inside. There is also the soft itentary for who was to speak at this meeting including John Hay(Secretary of State), Russell Alger(State Senator Michigan and Joseph Cannon(speaker of the House). Let me know if you have any questions on this. Hand numbered and signed on the inside. Also comes with Alger's death proclamation. This is a total piece of history in fantastic shape. Book does have some wear--See pictures, not aggressive.
