    Description

    Original,19th century(to the best of my knowlwdge, could be earlier) beautifully hand painted, embossed silver foil, gold gilt, Hand Fan in excellent condition. I've never seen another one quite like it. The detail and quality of the embossing and silver overlay is incredible! Some oxidation from age has darkened silver and gold gilding but it is in beautiful condition. It looks like the top stay has a bend or cracked  from mounting (see photo) but it is securely fixed in the frame. It was Professionally framed, I believe in the 1970's, (see label on back) & measures (H) 18"  x (W) 28."  The fan inside the frame measures (H)10" x (W) 19"
    We are moving and selling off some family pieces and it's not our style. We hope to find someone who will appreciate and cherish it.
