This is a wonderful Frankoma 1976 GOP Republican red Elephant Mug. The mug has a very nice red colored shiny glaze with some darker highlights at the extremes. It depicts an elephant with its trunk raised to its forehead forming a loop handle. The basket on top of the elephant is marked 1976 on one side and GOP on the other. The mug is obviously to commemorates the 200th anniversary of the US . The inside is glazed with a white smooth glaze. Please carefully review photos as they are part and parcel of our description.

Mug is in excellent like new condition with no cracks, chips, or repairs. It does have some light crazing to the glaze that is hard to see but is there.
