    Description

Very classy Ezra Brooks Whiskey decanter depicting a Gramophone.  The bottle is in very good condition with no nicks, scratches, or cracks.  The Brooks labels are somewhat faded with age.  Please see photos.  The decanter is about 12" tall and the base is about 4 1/2" X 3 1/2".  It is empty and the condition is "used".  Shipped via UPS Ground.
The invention of the phonograph is generally credited to Thomas Edison in 1877 which recorded and played back using tinfoil on a cylinder.
This invention was improved upon by Emil Berliner in 1887 when he devised a way of tracing sound grooves on a flat disk, rather than a cylinder.
He called his device a Gramophone.
